Wild Rainbow Trout can be caught year round on the Sacramento
River between Redding and Anderson. These fish get up to six or seven lbs.
with the average fish 16" - 18". The best time to fish for these
beauties is early Spring through Summer. Half day evening trips are also
an excellent way to enjoy this fishery. On a good day we can land 20 - 25
fish during a full day trip.
