A full day of fishing is seven hours of fishing. A half day of fishing is four hours of fishing. A Salmon fishing trip will end when limits are in the boat or seven hours are up.
A valid California fishing licience.

Proper clothing, including raingear in the winter.
You should dress in layers since temperatures can vary drastically during the course of the day.
